Griffin Atencio
Percussion Caption Head
Mr. Griffin Atencio has been involved with the Broomfield band program for 10 years as both a performer and educator. Originally performing on trumpet, he also has experience playing mellophone and percussion.
Mr. Atencio started his teaching career as a brass instructor for the 2017 Broomfield High School Marching Band competitive season, and taught brass until the 2021 competitive season. In 2019, he joined the instructional staff of the Broomfield Indoor Percussion Ensemble. He is currently the Percussion Caption Head for Broomfield High School.
Mr. Atencio has performed on the world's stage as one of the original members of the Blue Knights Winds ensemble, medaling in their 2019 inaugural season and leading as horn sergeant in 2020.
Brendan Carroll
Battery Instructor
A Broomfield native, Mr. Brendan Carroll is a graduate of Broomfield High School. He performed in the Broomfield Marching Band and Broomfield Indoor Percussion ensembles all four years of his high school career, and has a passion for the percussive arts.
Mr. Carroll is an active percussionist and music performer in the state of Colorado. He has performed with multiple world class ensembles, including the Blue Knights Percussion and Wind ensembles, and the Rise Percussion ensemble.
In the Fall of 2022 Mr. Carroll became an active member of the Denver Nuggets Sky-Line Drumline and the Colorado Avalanche Celly Squad, as a snare performer.

Jordan Crimminger
Brass Instructor
Originally from Fort Mill, South Carolina, Mr. Jordan Crimminger holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Arizona State University, a Master’s in Music Trombone Performance from Yale University, and an Artist’s Diploma from the University of Denver.
Mr. Crimminger is an active music performer and music educator. He has extensive professional experience performing in musical pits, jazz bands, orchestras, chamber ensembles, and wind bands. He has taught marching arts groups in South Carolina, North Carolina, Arizona, Texas, Connecticut, Oklahoma, and Colorado.
Mr. Crimminger has traveled all across the United States performing with the 2012 Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps and the 2013 and 2014 Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps.
