Broomfield Band Parents Association

The Broomfield Band Parents Association (BBPA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization whose mission is to provide logistical, moral, and financial support to the Broomfield High School band programs for students grades nine through twelve. It consists of parents, family, friends, alumni, and community members who support the Broomfield Band programs such as marching band, concert band, and jazz band, as well as extracurricular activities including Broomfield Winter Percussion and Broomfield Winter Guard.

We raise money to purchase musical instruments and pay for repairs, marching uniforms, sheet music and drill, transportation to performances and competitions, financial assistance to students and instruction costs. Our average annual program budget ranges between $100,000 and $200,000 depending on yearly competition travel and expenses.

We work hand in hand with the band director, school administration, and the BVSD Board of Education so that the band program at Broomfield High School can be maintained with the highest standards of excellence.

The BBPA holds monthly meetings that are open to the public. The schedule for these meetings will be on the band calendar, along with with scheduled rehearsals, competitions, performances, fundraisers, and other important dates.
